  1. Dear Mr Irons
After reading the first three pages in chapter 6, i still did not understand what the chapter was talking about. Its has a lot of vocabularies and when i check the meaning in the dictionary, it just confused me even more. It would be of great help if you over this with us in class.

  2. After reading the first few pages of chapter 6, it was obvious that tom was very nervous and embarrassed to reunite with Daisy.

  3. Dear Mr. Irons
After reading the first number of pages in chapter 6 of "the great Gatsby", considering the fact that Gatsby feel a certain type of way (in this case he believes love) to Daisy, Tom feels less in the same league as Gatsby and thinks that one day she will leave him for "the better man".

  7. From my reading I can infer that... a young reporter got the chance to interview Gatsby after overhearing about him. During the interview he discovers that Gatsby changed his name at the beginning of his career at age seventeen. James Gatz was legally his name

  8. After reading the great gatsby i can formulate the idea that gatsby changed his name because he himself changed due to the wealth he acquired .Even though he became wealthy he did not act as if he was better than people like how Tom behaves in that manner. Gatsby is a very modest person , he is the host of many parties that is held at his house he doesnt really enjoys the party himself he just wants everyone else to enjoy it.
